Donations and Bequests

As a not-for-profit institute, WAIMR relies on the generosity of the community to continue our critical research.

We are registered with the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient which means that we can issue you with a tax-deductible receipt for any donation over $2. At WAIMR, we appreciate that every dollar counts.

It is also now possible to donate shares in publicly listed companies, which were acquired at least 12 months before the donation, and that have a market value of $5,000 or less. Donors can claim a deduction for the market value of the shares on the day they make the gift.

To make a donation, you can:

• Complete the secure online donation form with your credit card details
• Contact Tony Hume, WAIMR's Manager, Advancement, on 0419 858 345 to enquire about making an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or if you would just prefer to give your credit card details over the telephone
• Send your cheque / money order made payable to:

We are happy to accommodate specific-purpose donations for supporters who wish to direct their funds to a particular area of research.
